Roanna's acting life began at age two when she played the Captain’s Daughter on the original Sea Patrol series – Patrol Boat for the ABC. Then at six, she trod the boards with Julie Anthony in the original Sydney production of The Sound Of Music, it was here the showbiz bug bit her!

Roanna has worked across the genres of Stage and Screen and is also a working Voice Over Artist. She has worked extensively as a professional vocalist and was a regular soloist on Bert Newton’s Good Morning Australia and a Guest Entertainer for P&O Cruiselines.  

Ro completed a 2yr Advanced Intensive Actors Program in Sydney  which explored all methods including Meisner, Strassberg, Stanislavsky and she has also had experience in the Eric Morris Method, and more recently completed two amazing Chubbuck workshops.

5 Months of paid acting work brings a smile to one's face!!

I've just arrived back in Sydney after travelling for the last two months around VIC and SA with a theatre production called SHORTER & SWEETER Last week we had an awesome set of shows in Canberra and we now settle in for the next two weeks at Glen Street Theatre, as part of their subscription season, before taking off to QLD and WA! Loving it!! If in Sydney come see the show June 3rd -12th!

6 Short Films, 2 TV Gigs, 5 Corporate Jobs, 2 Best Actor Awards, 5 Live Gigs, 6 Voice Over Jobs & a Video Ezy TVC, all as a Freelancer, on top of full time teaching at KHS and part time at NIDA and AIPA...what a year 2009 has been...can't wait for what 2010 will bring!!!!

ROANNA HAS TAKEN OUT THE SYDNEY CRASH TEST DRAMA FINAL'S BEST ACTRESS AWARD FOR THE SECOND TIME!! 

BLEEDTHROUGH - The feature film Ro worked on last year is about to have its Premiere Screening at Rough Cuts later this month. In the film Ro plays Emily, the lead character's therapist, who gets caught up in the nightmares of her patient! There is an awesome new trailor out, which is below on this page!!

Roanna has also just finished filming Somnium a 20min short for Scope Red Films where she created the role of Sandra Parkes - Strip Club Owner - which was awesome as she looked dramatically different to the Ro we know!
