Ro Dempsey grew up in a land of dangerous animals - then she moved to New York! With the grounded charm of an Aussie original, she brings quiet strength, playful wit, and unmistakable larrikin energy to the room. From theatre tours (Shorter & Sweeter, Arts Australia) to video games (Anna Lepus – Deathbound), from headlining as a vocalist on Princess Cruises to multiple appearances as Murderous Women (Discovery Channel), Ro has embraced the chaos of both a performer and a production team member.
She has also shared her knowledge teaching at Australia’s prestigious acting school, NIDA. Multi-accented — after living in New York for the past 12 years and learning the Queen’s English in the womb — Ro has worked as a director, choreographer, and production coordinator, navigating creative ecosystems with heart, discipline, and that unmistakable Aussie humour.
